STUDENT GOVERNMENT
Since 7th grade, I've had the honor of participating in is student government. CULTURE VIDEO COMPETITIONS
I have also co-led my Chinese Class to win the national Why Learn Languages Competition for three years straight. We created music videos with various artistic and linguistic elements to underscore the importance of learning languages. This year, we included everything from traditional fan dancing to acrobatics to originally arranged music. By far, the most valuable takeaway was the network of talented students we were able to bring together for this project. After 23 hours of editing, a month of filming, and 125 GB of storage worth of audio and visuals, we created our best production yet (see below):

CROSS COUNTRY
Cross Country has been a complete game changer for me in all regards. Physically, I've improved my time from 27 minutes to 20 minutes despite countless injuries, flat-foot issues, and scheduling difficulties with my significant commute and extracurriculars. I now think of running as a critical element in my success as a physician, helping regulate stress and keep my stamina strong for performing long surgeries. Socially, I was always shy in middle school, but became more gregarious through countless runs with teammates. As a team, we won the state championships in 2022 and 2023. Because of all these experiences, I decided to use running as my grounding framework for my personal statement in college apps.

TECHNOLOGY
I've also sporadically explored technology and AI. In January 2020, I spent 30 hours studying how computers are made to build my own, alongside my best friend and dad (time lapse below). In April 2023, I spent 45 hours learning how to create and publish 8 UEFN videogame "maps" to Fortnite, allowing a playerbase of 500 million to enjoy games published by verified creators like myself. In April 2024, I explored building custom GPT AI-Models. Among them is Chat GPYoppleton, which has the capabilities of Open AI's Chat GPT-4o combined with a more welcoming user experience users can note in its playful tone and "personality." My second is Auhsey GPT, the database for my creative hobby. Feel free to try them below.

APPAREL
In January of 2024, I briefly explored the realm of apparel design by launching a website and online store with apparel designs under the name of M?VE. Each piece is titled with a virtue or value, such as "M?VE with Purpose" or "M?VE with Light." Depending on that virtue/value, the design of the clothing changes. Take a look below, along with other designs I've created for events or other purposes outside of M?VE.

WORLDBUILDING
Since fall of 2022, two friends and I have partaken in a hobby called Worldbuilding. Together, we've created stories similar to those in cinematic universes like Star Wars or Marvel. We have written and rendered these stories to life through a variety of means. Explore a few samples of what we have created below. Ask Auhsey GPT anything about our universe!
